Steven Colby

Now this is a mug I wish I owned. I am always checking out other artists using red clay, I love to see what others are doing to their surfaces. The Internet is such a wonderful thing, sometimes I just jump from site to site making new discoveries. It's like exploring from the couch! Steven Colby is a potter I have found during one of my explorations. I really admire his work.

Wish I could...

Did you ever see someone's work and think "gee...I wish I could do that." There are certain artists who inspire me because though their work is very different from mine and from each others. This is bowl was made by Jill Rosenwald on etsy. I wish I could make patterns and designs like that! I can't even figure out how it's done. So beautiful!
