Wishing and hoping.

When are we gonna have a snow day??? I was hoping that with all the cold weather yesterday that the rain they were calling for would turn into a snowy day off! No such luck. For those of you who don't know this already...teachers look forward to a snow day way more than kids. Starting in October it's the topic of conversation in the lounge. "It's supposed to be bad this year." "Remember that year we had off for a week straight?" "I heard it's going to snow every day in January, we're not getting out of school 'til August!" On my list...

I am just about done shopping for everyone on my list this year (one of the perks of being at a craft show every weekend). It's hard not to find things you would like for yourself when browsing through all the goodies. This plate from Brenda Quinn is one of my top picks! I just love the patterns and we are in need of some new ceramic plates. Recently I gave all my "seconds" from my kitchen to my mom. For now we are eating off the Corelle!
